How it works
Video poker is a hold-and-draw game against a paytable. RTP at optimal strategy can be very high on some tables and poor on others. Confirm the paytable, whether it is treated as an Originals slot or a 0.1% table, and how the zero-edge allowance applies.
RTP and house edge
Duel.com says original slots are 100% RTP by design, with a scaling house edge after the allowance. Some originals use the 0.1% + rakeback path instead. Video poker may sit on either path. Check the live Zero Edge modal.
100% RTP does not mean every player wins. Zero house edge, when it applies, does not remove variance, losing sessions, or the daily allowance cap Duel.com describes.
Variance
Medium, with long dry spells on rare hands.
Pros
- Skillful hold decisions matter.
- Paytables can be inspected.
- Originals framing is the reason to look here instead of a random slot.
Cons
- A non-full-pay table can look like 'video poker' and still be worse.
- Suboptimal holds recreate house edge.
- Allowance limits still apply.

Frequently asked questions
Is Duel Video Poker 100% RTP?
Duel.com markets Originals around 100% RTP / zero edge inside a published daily allowance. After that allowance, Duel.com says a house edge returns. Check the live client. 100% RTP is not a session win guarantee.
